Professional Education

Professional Education is a series of projects that complements the Omanization efforts of the Government and private sector companies. It is a series of structured training programs that aim to provide young Omanis with the knowledge and skills needed for the labor market and secures employment within existing companies in North Al Batinah or other regions in Oman.

Each training program has been developed through comprehensive coordination and collaboration with several employers within North Al Batinah and the Ministry of Manpower. The mission has been to identify potential job opportunities in the labor market and to work with the relevant employers to design and implement training programs that can provide Omani youth with the skills they need to take up these employment opportunities.

The ultimate goal of this project is to ensure Omani employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills that can increase their employability and guarantee success in their careers.

Jusoor is currently working with several employers within the Sohar Industrial area to secure enrollment of around 140 Omani youths into their workforces as welders and fabricators between. Thorough vocational training programs are being designed for the candidates who will be selected from job seeker data at the Ministry of Manpower. The training program periods vary from 1 to 2 years, depending on the profession, and during training candidates will be entitled for a stipend or allowance. Upon successful completion of the training program the candidates will be directly employed by their relevant employers.
